곧 열리는 MLB 신인드래프트에서 전체1번 내지는 최상위픽이 유력한 투타만능 고교선수 헌터 그린의 롱토스 영상입니다. 전에 소개해 드린 적이 있는 앨런 지이거 아카데미에서 훈련을 한 모양입니다. 이 친구 재능이 무척 다양한가 봅니다. 바이올린도 배웠고 미술에도 소질이 많다고 하네요. 미국의 흑인 야구선수와 관련한 논문도 썼을 정도로 학업도 소흘히 하지 않았구요. 한국어도 배웠다고 하는데 이유가 궁금하네요.^^ 미래의 포부마저 무척 신선합니다.
“I want to do something more than just baseball. I want to inspire the youth, not just African-Americans but everybody. I think it is important. I’ve seen the numbers, and they have decreased and I’ve done projects on the decrease of African-Americans in baseball. I’m someone who is fortunate to be in this position.”
